a very good start for the series on the ps2. this game has beautiful graphics, moving music, decent voice overs, and a pretty good story to tell.
the good things square added to this game:
-great graphics
-voice overs add a lot!
-switching characters in and out during battles rocks!
-the sphere board makes so you dont have to sit around and level up
bad things in FFX
-random enemies still!
-looong cut scenes
-no world map (what are they thinking)
-no "real" armor or weapons
-tidus can seem whiney
i suggest that everybody pick this game up. it is one of the best FF's yet, and is a great way to show off the power of your ps2. prepare for a long quest!
