i have to admit that i have always been a big fan of the DOA series....maybe its because of its 'well endowed' females, or becuase of its super fun combo and reverse system...but the DOA series is my favorite fighting series right behind Virtua Fighter.
first off, the graphics are simply amazing. the character models are all well detailed and feature moving hair, waving clothes, and perfectly articulated limbs and...uhh...breasts. the levels are all breath-taking, most being multi-tiered with the ability to hit an opponent off the first level and onto a completly different one. the only thing that was slightly annoying was the "shiny" skin in some of the cinemas.
the sound, control, and fun-factor all all great. the sound is probably the weakest link in this game with a slightly boring soundtrack and weak japanese voices that leave you striving for more. the control is dead on. it is rather tight and each button feels great...i recommend using a controller S as it is easier to find each button. the joy in this game comes from its super fun combo and counter attacks. its so fun stringing a huge 10 hit combo and then reversing every single attack that the opposing character throws at you. it gets so fun when you get two players that actualy know what they are doing, beucase then it becomes a real fun match with countering counters and long combos.
if you are a fan of fighters, or want to show off the power of your xbox, then you will want to pick up this game! if you dont like fighting games, or you are easily offended by 'well endowed' females, then you might want to just rent this title.
