alright, first off i want to say that you should only buy this game if you are...
1) the most hardcore contra or old-school game fan
2) looking for a game that will push you over the boundries if you are contemplating suicide
yeah, the game is that hard...imagine old contras and multiply it by 4 or 5
the graphics are pretty good, i mean, its a 2-d game with 3-d everything and it looks pretty darn good. the sound is decent as well, just lots of explosions and gunfire. the control...argh....its so frekin unforgivable, like if you push the wrong direction or tap the button too late, then you are screwed
i didnt like how you couldnt pick up powerups like old contras, you get 3 types of bullets only and you can choose them from the beginning....if you double tap the fire button, then it does a 'super attack' which is pretty worthless as the time you double tap the button, you will probably die
im totally glad that i didnt buy this game as i would seriously have injured myself with my controller, or better yet something sharp like scissors or a knife....again, if you have a death wish, pick this up, or please for Gods sake just rent it and play it with a friend
