I'm not really sure why I ever sold my N64 to be honest. Whilst reviewing all these classics from that console, I remember the fun I had playing them, and think that mebbe the GameCube is gonna be pretty good after all. Back to the review though. Diddy Kong racing. The level design is simply fantastic, much better than Mario Kart 64 (which was really quite a disappointment for me) with a much greater variation being possible because of the fat that you can fly, which makes all the courses far more varied. Another thing that was good about this game is that it is really quite hard, especially on some of the later levels.
Summary: Great level design makes this the best racer on the N64 (although there's not much competition)
