This is by far and away the best Football game out there. It looks great, with the fans not being all that brilliant, admittedly. The scoring is pretty realistic. I have found that is a little easy to do well with a great scrambling QB (Donovan McNabb 5 TD runs 4 TD passes 250yds running 285yds passing in one game), but other than this flaw, it is pretty good. It still really suffers from being too easy to run, and too hard to pass, which is what killed the previous Madden games, but the tackling is really astoundingly amazing. If you hit a guy in the shoulder, you'll both fall realistically, and it is uncommon for anything more and perhaps a finger or two to clip into the body of the tackled player. It really is quite impressive. Maddne and Summerall make the obligatory return appearance, and people seem to be having a go at the commentary. All I can say is this: Have you ever heard them in real life? my point is proved. The commentary is not bad, it's realistic, there's a subtle difference.
