I played this game, and at first, I really didn't like it. he frame-rate is truly awful, and there doesn't seem to be any way of distinguishing between doing a header, volley or controlling the ball. This is really irritating to begin with, but after a while you begin to truly get a feel for the game. Once you switch off Star Abilities (which consist of irritating Arcade-style red flashes from the back of the ball and 'whoosh' souds) the game gets a whole hell of a lot better. And, I never thought I'd say this, the game is absolutely brilliant co-op. Because of the analogue passing, you can play two or more players on the one team, and do beautiful build-up play with the added advantage of more than one really intelligent player. It great fun. In our first game multiplayer, me and my bro beat China 8-1 as European All-Stars. It was so much fun. Admittedly the frame-rate is annoying, but not so much as to detract from the beautiful visuals. The stadiums are a joy to behold, with individual fans. The ball control is also excellent.
Summary: A great game, would be better than Fifa 2002 if not for 'soft' visuals and bad frame-rate.
Graphics: 10 (great player models (except for Ronaldo), beautiful Stadiums)
Sound: 7 (really nice, but you can't switch off the in-game music, and each goal ends up feeling like the winning Goal in the world Cup final)
Gameplay: 10 (analogue controls with excellent air-ball control added in for good measure)
