What a genre defying moment in gaming history this game was. With it's various different people, all needed to perform their tasks, a better game in this style had not been seen since 'The Lost Vikings' on the Amiga (a veritable classic). And the only remotely competent one since then (except Commandos 2 of course) is Project EDEN. This is, however much better than that. The first time you get away scott free with killing about 15 guards one by one with a knife, you know this game's gonna be good. My only reservation about it is that it's just too damn difficult (read my review of 'Beyond the Call of Duty'). You can barely kill one person first time, never mind complete the entire level. This in mind though, it IS highly addictive, and you can usually just about manage to do one mission before getting too irritated to continue. And after that, of course, it is a brand new mission to play.
A good wholesome 9.
