I like this game a lot. It's not necessarily "Final Fantasy" in terms of fitting in with the series norm, but it's still better than 90% of all other games out there. Most of the Guardian Forces are in what I still see as my favorite incarnations of them, and all the characters except Squall (the weak link with all his whining) are excellent and useful in a fight and in the story itself. I've beatenn six FF series games as well as Tactics, and the ending boss is still the one that takes me the longest to get through, which is fine with me because I like the final battle to be challenging.
