The Xeno series has lost a lot with Xeno 2. It has a different director, which produces different results; the most notable are the changes to the characters, which I hate. For example, in Xeno 1; KOS-MOS had an innocent look to her that contradicted her as a weapon, while in Ep. 2, she looks and acts just like a weapon with what personality she had completely gone.
This time, the story revolves around Junior and Albedo's past, and it is a short game on top of that. There are a ton of sidequests, but they're mainly needless busy work intended to fluff up the time you spend on this, like getting the battery recharged multiple times for example. None are any fun like in the prefvious Xeno.
Then there are the changes Namco's US offices made, like the diferent and horrible voice actors as well as how once again they censored it, which is simply inexcusable and is a crime gainst the creators of the game as far as I'm concerned. They also added three extra boss battles, but stupidly enough you can't play them until after the game is over, as if that'll help you.
There's also another clear data save file; I wonder what we'll get next time instead of bathing suits this time, a new hat?
