I am a sports fantatic. I own every version of Madden for the PC (before that I was an Front Page Sports fan) and this is my first stab at a console madden (XBOX is the first and only console I ever wanted to buy. I have been a PC gamer since the Atari 600xl!!)
Back to my take.... As i said, i also own Madden 2k2 on the PC. Gameplay is very similar, no complaints there. The only difference I can see is that the graphics on the xbox don't touch the pc version, but i expect that to change with 2k3 when hopefully it is not simply a weak ps2 port. If that is the case, i will continue with the pc version until ea wakes up.
