Well, there's not much more I can say that everyone hasnt already said. This was probably the most engrossing game I have ever played. Whoever bashes this game isn't reviewing all its components. Just for the storyline, this requires a 10. Just for the graphics, this game requires a 10. Anyone who has bought a DVD movie should buy this game.
When I played this game, I thought it was the best game ever. Now that I have played FF9 and other rpgs, I see the slaws in this game. It's super easy if you try and level at all. And status effects mean little. Also, almost all of the lvl 4 status spell meant little once you got them.
Another gripe is that auron could get life or ultima. The lack of defined classes was cool, but not to my liking.
Overall, not the best rpg, but my favorite storyline game and best FMV i have ever seen. I don't think I'll play FFX-2 though cause better rpgs like FF7, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Chross, and Bauldurs Gate are out there and they are much better in terms of game play.
