This is one of my first point and click adventure games and i must say i found it very enjoyable.
Graphically the game is exquisite, the models and pre-rendered 2d backdrops are full of colour and extraodinary architecture and not to mention ingenious uses for automatons (robots)
The sound is pretty good to, a slightly monotonous socre but exellent voice acting...very good expect for the odd npc.
The gameplay revolves around puzzle solving, not a bullet fired, this was a refreshing breath of fresh air considering all the action games i've played.
The story while not exactly the greatest on the planet is good, it basically revolves around a lawyer, your character, who is representing a larg toy company who wishes to buy this little automaton factory in a small vilage in the french countryside, once reknowned for its toys, its now delapitated.....as is most of the town after the 2nd world war. You find ut that the owner one Anna Voralberg is dead ....having made provisions for this...things seem simple...however ...you find out that her supposedly dead brother is infact..alive....your goal is to find him and finsih up the paper work...but on the way ur plunged into Hans Voralberg's exploits..and his personality.....there's a little bit of him in every place you visit.
Overall i found this game well balanced...not overly hard or illogcial in the puzzle department....good sound and graphics and an enchnating story.
A must buy for point and click fans and well worth a try for those wanting to try a title fromthe genre out....
