Zone of Enders is a good game with a low replay value. The in-game graphics are good nothing exceptional but they work well with the FMV's visuals. I found the realtime damage to the surrounding backgrounds nice to see in a game that is considered a first-generation game. The story is not exceptionally deep but it's enough to to keep the game going. Giving you the freedom to choose which task to do first gives you a nice sense of interactivity with the game and its story. The game does offer a two player mode when you complete the story mode however it just feels stale after a couple of times playing against a live player. The areas seemed to small for two players to go head to head it probably would have worked better as a co-op. I'm looking forward to seeing another version of this game possibly with I-Link capabilities as a multiplayer aspect. It's worth picking up as a preowned game now especially if your new to mech fighting games it's worth a dub.
