I don't know if this game copied DOA3, or if DOA3 copied the arcade version of this game, but, either way, they are very similar. Given the inherent similarity,I can help but compare the two, and, I feel that DOA3 is a better game. In DOA3, the environments are more interactive, the graphics are sharper, and the moves list is more extensive, thus, it is the better game. However, if you don't own the Xbox, or if you just love the VF series, VF4 is your game. It's a lot of fun to play in its own right, and has some of the best graphics you'll ever see on the PS2.
