Definitely my favorite game for the 'Cube, and at this still early stage already possibly entering my hallowed hall of Best Games Ever.
Beautiful graphics and sound, outstanding gameplay, seamless interface, gripping story. 16:9 widescreen format and surroundsound are *sweet*!
Can't say enough good things about Eternal Darkness. A joy to play. Please, game developers, learn some of the lessons Silicon Knights teaches, here -- especially LEAVING ITEMS & MONSTERS & SPELLS a *MYSTERY*! Can't stand game companies that list all spells or creatures, etc., in the manual. Here, you only know you'll have to find multiple spell components to mix spells -- you don't even know what those spells are or how they will be used.
