This has got be one of my favorite Role playing games ever.
I loved story, as it was very compelling and I looked forward to my gaming sessions to see what was going to happen next. I enjoyed the fact that not only did you customize the character, you also got to customize the ship. The graphics were on par of what you expected out of the Dreamcast (RIP).
The random battles could get tiresome after awhile as they were far too frequent, but that would be my only gripe about the game.
The battles were standard fair...turnbased with either weapons or magic based attacks. character could learn different spells by equiping different colored gems.
The ship to ship battles were a great break from the norm. They also signified a great moment of tension in the story. Looking back on them there weren't enough of them; even if they were a well disquised verwsion of rock paper scissors.
Overall, I really enjoyed my time with this rpg,and look forward to its sequel. The story drew me in from the beginning and I couldn't stop playing until it was over.
