I've finally got around to playing Jak and Daxter. Boy, I was wasting my time with those Luigi's and other games i was finishing first!
This is a fun platformer. There really isn't anything new here in terms of game mechanics, but its put together in a nice new package.
Basically its another collect all the widgets and battle some big enemies along the way. However the way is a lot of fun. You can certainly see the flashes of Crash Bandicoot throughout the game, but I tend to think this platformer has more in common with Mario 64 than Crash.
There are no load times to speak of, the graphics and sound are top notch.
Overall, I'd rank this game as a platformers dream.
