This is a good game but not great. After playing and simulating over 30 seasons some flaws are very apparent. It is extremely difficult if not impossible to run up the middle consistantly on the higher difficulty settings no matter how good your o-line is or how much you tweak the sliders. The rankings for teams and each unit (rb's, db's, etc.) are nice but they are basically meaningless. In the first season I simmed the Vikings won the Superbowl with an offensive line rating of 58. 58! That was the lowest rated unit I saw in the league all year.
I say rent this game but if you are going to buy just one football game for the PS2 get Ncaa 2002 since it has over 100 more teams and is more wide open.
