A great bomberman game which can get quite challenging!
First off, you can call this a "kiddie game" but a "kiddie" would not be able to beat this game. This game is HARD! At times I found myself working on the same boss battle for at least 2 hours.
The controls are good and the camera angles are a great feature.
The game is cel-shaded, which works well with Bomberman. The graphics are good.
The storyline is basic and nothing important. Collect the bomb elements, defeat the evil guy.(That's about it)
Charabombs are little pokemon like creatures in Bomb.Gen. The battles with them are boring and they seem stupid, but what they do for bomberman is not. Charabombs can help bomberman by giving him more bombs, firepower, speed, or many other helpful advancements. But only one charabomb can be equiped at a time!
The battle mode is fun, but only for about an hour. Beating the hard computer is very challenging,so good luck!
This game is not worth $50, but you should at least rent it. I say this not because it's a lame game, but because it will take only take you five days to beat it(that is if you play an hour or two a day). 7/10
