Tagline: Madden 2003.  A revolution in the Madden series.

2003...  just another year to some.  But to us Maden fans, it's the year of MASS improvement!  What do I mean, you ask? Enter my review...
--------------------------------------

Madden has been improved in many ways this year, which I shall now list...

1)First and foremost, you will realize the fact that, if you didn't know before the game's release, Al Micheals is there instead of the zombified Pat Summerall.  This adds a new voice to Madden that will change the tone a bit.  (Although, if you're like me, you can't stand the critisizm of the idiotic John Madden, and shut off the commentary.)

2) The fact that EA finally decided to A: License some actual bands, and B: play more than one song throughout the entire time you're browsing the menu, makes me very happy.  I like Good Charlotte and Quarashi quite a bit and am glad EA got them on the EA Trax bandwagon.

3) The Mini-Camp feature rocks!  I have gotten so much better at Defense and Rushing thanks to it.  This is an amazingly cool feature that lets you go across America training with every NFL team to improve your skills in 8 subjects -- Precision Passing, Pocket Presense, Ball Swatting, Rushing, Chasing and Tackling RBs, Being a Linebacker, Coffin Corner Punting, and Field Goal Kicking.  There are four levels of difficulty -- Rookie, Pro, All-Pro, and All-Madden (as ususal).

4) The Texans are there.  I consider this a revolution becuase it messes up the whole system!  *cheers* Now there is the NFC and AFC Nrth, South East and West.  Now that's a change!

5) You can go online!  For the first time ever, you can face off against other Madden-ites across the globe on your PS2.  This, in my opinion, is a true revolution for the world of Madden.

6) The create-a-playbook is very nice when you are inspired to make an amazing play.  Who better to create your plays than yourself?
---------------------------------------

This concludes my review of the revolutionary Madden NFL 2003.

Overall: The winds of change blew at EA headquarters when this ame was under development, causing good things to happen.  97/100
