Age of Empire is an excellent RTS game series. The Age of Empire Series started with this game. This game has very solid old school RTS gameplay. The graphics are very good for it's time. This game has better graphics then most RTS games today. I was very impressed with the game's graphics. The sound is excellent. The part I liked most was the gameplay. Compared to games of this game's during this game's time it is a pretty good gameplay. If you were looking for a cheap real time strategy game this would be the game for you. Also the replay value is good. It is fun playing the game online. This game is one of the best strategy games that you can get. This game is a must have to all strategy fans. Make sure you get the expansion, Age of Empires: Rise of Rome, when you get this game.
