Diddy Kong Racing is what I would call a rock solid title. It pulls no punches, yet is in no way fantastic or ground breaking. The best thing about DKR is its similarity to Mario Kart 64, a game I thoroughly enjoy. This is no rehash of Mario Kart though, as you are given different vehicles, and are required to beat a Boss racer. The different vehicles add greatly to the game, and it is fun to race a track on four-player mode and go by land, sea, and air.
