With some first class production values and a little fine-tuning on the engine, Victorious Boxers could have been a first class PlayStation 2 title. While almost all previous boxing titles have been detailed but boring simulation games (Knockout Kings) or lighthearted arcade style brawlers (Ready 2 Rumble), Victorious Boxers does an admirable job trying to strike a balance between these two sub genres. Too bad there isn't enough to do, see, or hear.
