Metroid Fusion, along with Zelda 4 Swords were the first games I got for my GBA SP, and to tell you the truth...That was the best $60 I ever spent...
Graphics-10/10...Beautiful for the GBA, words cant describe how well the game is detailed..Every upgradeable item, every new suit Samus recieve and the creatures all have their great unique look. Even the backrounds are great..Sure they are not drop dead gorgeous but they are superb for this system...From the spurts of fire all the way up to Samus there is nothing but perfection
Gameplay-8.5/10...Even though I beat the game 94% after 9 hours I believe I was still craving more..Some of the bosses were extremely easy...Well almost all the bosses were easy except for like a little handful. However there are all the power bomb, health and missle upgrades to gather which can make the game longer but I believe I only missed 5 total things and beat it in 9 hours, or around that mark. The game could easily get a 10 if it was 2 or 3 hours longer but it was cut short a little early. Make sure to get all the missle beams or you will have troubles throughout the game, conserve missles and even though the game is fairly easy, try stocking up on a few extra med kits just in case, you most likely wont need a whole bunch however.
Replay-9/10...Not much but if you want you can collect all the missles, healths and bomb upgrades, theres quite a few to keep you lasting a couple extra hours..Not much to do though if you beat the game 100%...Oh and lets not forget that you can link your GBA to your NGC to play some old Metroid...I tried it and well...you can tell its old metroid, thats all I can say. I didnt find it too amusing but maybe some of the older games would like it better.
Bottom Line: Definate must buy for any GBA owner, true its short and a tad on the easy side but whatever it lacks in is made up in the fun factor...Plus its cheap in stores now, Im glad it was the first game I ever played for my GBA SP.
