Great game, possibly the best ever!
There is so much positives in this game its hard to name close to all of them.
Just imagine your the Persians attacking the Chinese, then china brings in its ally france against you and makes Germany(who you were trading with and supplied most of your income) sign a no-trade pact. Suddenly the games from an easy attack and capture of Chinese towns to a battle for survival.
And you dont even have to attack anyone, you can win scientifically(launch a ship to Alpha Centurai), culturally, diplomatically and of course militarily.
There's basically unlimited possibilities, each civ have its own unique unit and maps can be random or premade.
The addition of strategic resources adds even more to the game.
Includes and editor which (with patch 1.29) is pretty good and getting to the standard the Civ2 editor set.
I can't wait for play the world!
