I beta tested this game about a month ago. This is another great installment of the SWAT franchise. The game looks great and hold serious strategic promise. That being said I did find it very slow in action. The realistic "stacking and shuffle" will turn off most action fps gamers. Fans of fast paced games like the Quake series, Team Fortress Classic or even UT2K4 may find this game so slow, as I did, that it is very difficult to play. While in the beta test I found several strategies that border on exploits. The pepperball gun for instance can incompacitate you character if you're hit several times and then rushed and hit again. The incompacitating effects in my opinion are to long and look to be compounded by the in ability to prevent your opponents team to completely arm their entire team with these weapons. I think increasing the speed of the game would just imbalance it further. Differences in gameplay aside. I did find this game somewhat fun to play if the teams and weapons were balanced. I remain neutral on this title as some will love it and some will hate it. Bottom line if you like SWAT or Counter-Strike style games you'll more than likely enjoy this one.
