This game is the perfect addition to your GBA library. Although I would reccomend only buying this game if you own the GBA SP, to take full advantage of the backlight. It's a great game buy therein lies it's weakness. If you don't have the SP this game's fun factor is almost cut in half. Don't get me wrong this is a great game but if you want to truly enjoy it the way it was meant to be you need to play it on the GBA SP. The main thing to remeber is that this game is right on par with each and every Castlevania released. If you're a fan you're not going to be disappointed. If your not a fan, buy this game and I garauntee you will be. I just wish the sound was better, but that's really just nitpicking. When you have the SP and the game is lit up in all's it's glory and the story hits full stride this game is just as ambitiuous as hell. Speaking of which, the story is new and as cool as ever. You'll actually want to get in there and unlock every little move and magic spell you possibly can. This is one of the few GBA games that I actuall play outside of wanting to just waste time. You'll get so involved you'll be hooked. My wife yelled at me to turn it off one night at around 1 in the morning because I'd been playing it nonsop in bed for like two hours. You cannot go wrong so buy this game, and if you don't have a GBA SP, go buy one then buy this game!
