The previous number one title for me was golden sun, but when metroid fusion came out, this game has taken over the top spot. The graphics are colorful and bright which makes it easier to play as compared to castlevania. It is better than most other games but not as good as golden sun. The music sounds like aome sort of techno, and this adequately gives added enjoyment to the game. What makes this game great is the shooting action, the collection of power ups and puzzle solving elements. There are a lot of enemies here and certain enemies needs different types of strategy to defeat them. Sometimes you need to hit an enemy/boss in a particular weak spot, sometimes a boss would only be defeated with a particular weapon. The collection of power ups makes you want to play the game more since by collecting these you get stronger by adding more missles, increasing your life meter, getting an ice effect on your weapons, getting a suit resistant to extreme temperatures, etc. The puzzle solving elemets require you to think on how to get these power ups as, since some of them are quite hard to find, and finding out a way to deafeat the bosses as mentioned earlier. The only bad thing about this game is that sometimes you may get frustrated because you may get trapped in a room and cab't find a way out. Sometimes it takes me about an hour just to find a secret door or tunnel. This game took me about 12 hours to complete which is about right for me. As of now, this is the top game for me for the GBA. On to Zelda.
