Upon looking at the reviews,this game seems to be very good. Upon playing the game, my first impression was that it wasn't a great looking game but it had some nice sound effects and music. The graphics seem to be a bit better than PSone games, but definitely below par compared to other NGC titles like RE, SMS, Star Wars, Metroid prime, even pikmin and super monkey ball. The sound gave an eerie feel and sudden sounds like falling wood or cracking of fire may likely make your heart skip a beat. I said to myself that there are a lot of games that had bad graphics, but good gameplay, so I continued playing. I had finished half of the game and I had no sense of what I'm doing. I had no idea what the story is about, playing with different characters with different storiesthat does not seem to connected to each other. I also did not understand the magic system,by combining different runes you get different spells. The magic system is really confusing for me. The controls are also sluggish but a little better than RE.
In conclusion, the graphics are bad, the contols are sluggish, the magic system is confusing, there doesn't seem to be a story halfway into the game. The only good thing I noticed about the game wi the great music and sound effects.
