Sim City is a good step forward for the franchise. The graphics a crisp and nice to look at, if not beautiful. The sounds add to the atmosphere. The deeper you get into the game, the more layers you find. The system of regionally connected cities (megalopolisis) dramatically changes the gameplay dynamics from earlier Sim City games. There are some disappointments. Health systems are overly simplistic, as are education systems. Also, the game seemed a bit easy to me. Considering that there is only one difficulty setting, that's a problem. Finally, there are technical issues like rendering and memory leaks that have not been addressed by the developers. Overall, I recommend this game for good, light fun.
