When it was announced that Metroid will become a first person shoter, many desaprove. Well, they were wrong. Metroid Prime takes you where no other game could: behaind the eyes of a power-suited, well armored bounty hunter. It beings whit a typical first mision-introuduction to the game. Samus received a distress signal from a space station, she goes to investigate, and discover that the space pirats are comencing a new metroid branch. The station explodes and she follows a new cyber-ridley to the surface of Tallon IV. There the real adventure comences. Armed only with her power beam, she must explore the planet and recover all of her weapons, fight the space pirats, as well as some of Tallon Iv's fauna, and finally encounter with the great evil that lies in the deeps of the planet.
The mobility is awensome. Maybe some find it a little difficult at first, but after some time, it becomes intuitive and responding.
Graphically, this games is the best to the date in the GC. Beautifull locations, tons of effects and great animated, and some times big also, enemies fill the screen. 60 fps and no slow down! The effects in Samus's visor are very well presented and sometimes they will make you fell dizzy.
The music is, well, Metroid music. Remixes from past games, such as the Magmoor Cavers, and new compositions make the atmosfere of the game even greater, and the sound effects are great.
This is game every GC owner should have. If your don't like this game, well, meybe you are not a tru METROID fan.
