I shall hesitantly start by saying that Obi-Wan is a good game. It is fun and keeps you coming back for the next challenge. Let's face it, any game that lets you play as one of the coolest Jedi Knights ever and run around hacking and slashing with the best sci-fi weapon ever invented can't really go wrong!.
But god did they try. The graphics are well below par, the voices are a lame reflection of the original and the sound effects could have used work. The music is good and the in-game shift during dramatic moments is well done but how could you screw that up when the score has already been written.
This is one of those games that could have been a classic if they had spent twice as long making it and added those magical little touches that fill out a game.
People, if you are going to use established characters and follow a movie script the for gods sake follow the script and get the bloody voices right!
The makers of this game need a good slapping from star wars fans everywhere. I am embarrased to admit that I loved this game and played it from start to finish with a passion. But I want more. I demand more!
Scores a reluctant 7 out of 10.
