I think Final Fantasy VII is not only one of the best RPGs of all time, but one of the best games of all time. I loved from the moment i saw the opening cutscene. The battles are still fun and the materia system is still one of my favorites. Another thing i find missing from most RPGs today are the multitude of fun minigames and challenging sidequests that had me playing for months. Sure the other Final Fantasys had minigames, but none of them were as fun as the many ones in FFVII. Not only that, but the plot still stands as one of my favorites. I also liked the more high-tech theme they used to set the theme. The music was also some of my favorite and fit each scene perfectly. If you have a PS-x or PS2 then you should get this game as soon as possible. If you don't, get one quick so you can play this classic.
