It took a fair bit of perseverance for to finish this. It's a nice game, but the random battles are ridiculously frequant and easy (most can be happily completed on the handy 'auto' setting that just makes every character attack).
I'd have to say that you should only buy this if you are keen on RPG's or retro gaming. There are much better RPG's out there, but Breath Of Fire is like a little piece of gaming history and definately interesting for that.
