Final Fantasy Tactics is a great blend of the Final Fantasy world with strategy/tactical. It brings back a lot of familiar faces ( i.e. chocobos, white/black mages ) and adds limitless party and character customization aspects as well as the strategic gameplay. To enjoy this type of game you should really be a fan of the strategy genre, such as Front Mission 3, because this is NOT an action packed game; it tends to move rather slow.
The one drawback is that the story is very complex; in fact, I couldn't follow the story because there were too many plot twists. Despite not being able to follow most of the story I still loved the gameplay enough to enjoy this game thoroughly.
