As many of you possibly have already, I just finished the DEMO of the "Emperor's Tomb (E's T)" from XBOX Magazine.

At first, the movement of Indiana Jones was very difficult (almost annoying).  The movement and camera angles are adjusted by the L and R analog thumbsticks (very similar to Splinter Cell (SC was much smoother and easier)...in fact, Indy can push his back to the wall and creep along or shot from around corners just as Sam Fisher in SC).  After I played the DEMO on the 3rd try I was somewhat used to the movements and the button layout (I am hoping for a custom based button scheme however).

As far as interaction goes, Indy's new punching ability is very fun (he certainly can fight).  Indy can grab and use practically anything in the game to fight with (bottles, chairs, shovels, etc.).  Indy can swim, and he even loses his hat (in fact, I had to go back 3 rooms just to get it).  And as always, Indy uses can use his whip when he can to swing from place to place or to fight against others.

Graphicaly, I think E's T is stunning.  A very detailed game with smooth textures, brilliant use of shadow and light and very nice effects (water ripling, crackling fires, rocks crumbling, smoke from guns, etc.).

The biggest plus in E's T is the sound!  Indy sounds just like Indy!  The gun shots from Indy's rolver sound as if they were taken right from the movie soundtrack (they probably were)!  And the ambient sound and musical score are very impressive!

I am a fan of the movies.  I am a fan of LuacsArts games.  I will add this to my XBOX colection.
