What can I say about Zooty - this is a very well balanced, polished, educational and fun title. Zooty has revived my hope that games can be educational in addition to being fun, and is the biggest argument in the face of arguing moms who claim that playing games is bad for their kids.
I have learned as much about animals and the planet from Zooty as i have from the discovery channel. The joy of building your own zoo and taking care of animals and visitors alike is indescribable. This joy culminates whenever a new animal baby is born in your zoo, what a weird thing to say, but it's definitely true. Yours truly hardcore shooter, RTS, and racing gamer has felt warm and fuzzy whenever a new baby-gorilla was born in his zoo...hmm.
I can't imagine how much fun kids will have with this game, if i had little kids or siblings it would put a smile on my face each time i saw them playing Zooty. It's the same as having a pet, but this time it's not just a pet but a whole bunch of them...in a zoo.
I love Zoo Tycoon and I'm sure so will you once you've tried it...for no matter how short a time.
