Racer Revenge is a faceless and dull, "me-too" racing title banking on its Star Wars IP to get your attention. When you unpeel through the layers of hype and movie bias, Racer Revenge is merely a futuristic bare-bones racer without anything unique to offer.
This title is has as much allure as Arctic Thunder or Quantum Redshift or Kinetica or Extreme G3 racing, etc. A stick shift to navigate, a boost button to punch from time to time, eye-warping speed, and blurry surroundings = this is how you can sum this game in one sentence.
There is absolutely no innovation and repeat value that a gamer can get out of this assuming you haven't gotten one of the other futuristic racers I've mentioned above. If you haven't played any of them and if 500 mph speed racing is your thing, you might find this title tolerable; if not you've wasted your money buying this game and you should run to the store to exchange it as soon as you can.
