This game is a great game if you like fast-paced first-person games. It's NOT a good game if you're like me and like realistic hunting. Why? Well, I'll tell you.
First of all, the AI is just flat out ridiculous. Any animal will charge you. Even deer and elk. Anybody can see the absurdity of this. And, not only will any animal charge you, practically EVERY animal charges you. They almost never run away. No matter if they're deer or gemsbok, they'll seek you out and attack you.
Secondly, the actual hunting itself is not very enjoyable. If you try to call and animal in, you'll have to wait a while. Now I know that's how it is in real life, but nobody wants to sit and stare at their TV for 30 minutes.
Now, there are nice things about this game. The graphics are great, the sound is great, the equipment is great. The Action Zone is a rather strange idea, and you might enjoy it.
Basically, this game focused a little too much on the dangerous game part, and not enough on the hunting part.
