Link returns on the GC and this time he commands the wind. Zelda: The Wind Waker brings solid game play and hours of fun to be had by all.
At first the cartoon style looks strange and seems to lack any graphical eye candy we seem to crave. But after playing for a few minutes you'll begin to appreciate the style and artistic imagery that works well for this title. There are tons of side quests and rupees to be had. Sailing can get a bit boring at times but most likely you have been playing for too long and just need to take a break. The dungeons are well put together and at one point you'll have switch characters back and forth, as you explore the dungeons. But there are a few problems; 1.it would have been nice to have more dungeons incorporated into the game, 2.near the end you are sent on a tedious task that drags the game on, and 3.finally the final battle was weak and boring.
With that said, WW overall is a must own title for any GC owner. I had fun playing this game and never once regretted that I bought it. But if you are looking for a Zelda title that tops OOT, keep looking because this isn't it.
