WOW!! This game is fantastic. It is the first Final Fantasy to be released on the PSX, and what a hit. It features great graphics, a compelling storyline, and simple but stout battle system. It is also the first RPG to use CG animated cut scenes. For being the first one to use these, the cutscenes are fantastic. They are a little grainy, but it's just the Playstation. There is also a new magic system that involves the junctioning of stones called materia to you r weapons and gauntlets. This allows for a character who only uses the magic you want him to. So, if you love the Final Fantasy franchise, and are lookinf for a farely recent hit, get this one.
