Final fantasy tactics embodies what a strategy RPG should be. Interesting characters, great story, excellent levels, and unlimited character customization.
FFT sports incredible graphics (for a psx game), but the game suffers from a bad translation. Even through this, the game just shines. Everything about this game just screams "quality!".
I've played through this game many, MANY times, and each time through, i discover something new, or different. What you can do with your characters is left completely to your imagination. Want a knight that can summon bahamut to decimate your foes? You can do it! Want a monk that's adept at the black arts? You can do it! If you've got an imagination, you WILL enjoy this game. Anyone who enjoys RPGs needs to buy this game. That's all there is to it.
