Civilization III is the best turn based game I have ever played. Very nice and user friendly interface combined with a deep game make a unique experience. The fans of the previous Civilization will be happy with this new version.
Most noticeably now you have border and culture. You can conquer other cities by your formidable culture not by armies. The diplomacy deepens and there are many tweaks to the gameplay that make it much more fun and easier to manage your empire.
IMO The main problem of the game is its lifeless and not exciting battles. there is no fun in battles. After a while you may get tired of the game even though it's a deep and involving.
People who like turn based games can't go wrong with this one.
