This was by no means a Halo killer, but I'm sure that wasn't the developers intent. They wanted to make a great game and thats what they did.
The story in this games puts you up against the hellghast. You are few and they are many. In all the story is really well done. But nothing to captivating. It does hold some good action a some well done cuts sense but nothing ground breaking.
Graphically this game is top notch, pushing the ps2 to its limits. Some slow down in some areas but nothing to serious. I've seen worse, in other games. Wont mention names.
The sound quality in this games is great, it really gives you the sense of being in the battle field. It just sounds amazing on a nice surround sound system with the base blasting.
Control wise this game can be frustrating. The sniper rifle is just to tough to aim. Aiming period is tough, but other then that everything else is pretty spot on.
Final thoughts it's a great game worthy of a rental at least. Some hiccups whiling moving around the world. Getting over barriers can be frustrating, and not being able to explore more would of been nice. Still some things to work out, hopefully well see these changes on the PS3.
Now go outside and stop playing with your joystick it may cause blindness.
