I heard so many great things about this game before getting a chance to pick it up. I just had to see it for myself what was so great about God of War. Well I must admit I was really skeptical at first, but after finishing the game in one night I still wanted more.
The story is just awesome, if they should make any more movies based on games this should be one. This story is just captivating, it draws you in. Can't get enough.
Graphically this game is stunning, so many beautiful things to look at. The art direction is spot on, I love it.
The sound in this game is of the highest quality. It takes you from reality and sets your right in to the game. Voice overs, sound effects, music are just amazing. Well done
Control wise this game does take awhile to get used to, but what game doesn't these days. They did make great use of all the buttons, which are fairly easy to navigate in the heat of battle. Mind you it can be frustrating at times as well. But in all it was done very well.
Not to say the game was perfect, I did find myself struggling to find my way at times. But with some back tracking it wasn't to hard to find my way. The camera does get in the way at times. But nothing to serious that should cause you to miss out on this great action packed story driven game.
So get out from whatever rock you've been hiding under at go pick this game up. Even if it is just a rental.
