This game was ok in my book. I know that there are a ton of rave reviews, but I was luke warm at best. I guess after playing Ridge Racer just before it, this game seems slower and not as interesting.
I guess it depends on what you like, while the graphics are very nice, the gameplay didn't seem as solid as RR. Maybe if I played this first, I would have liked it even more.
The steering of the ship that you must use can be tedious at times, and puzzling, especially as you are changing levels.
However, I would rent this game to see how you like it, there's nothing terribly bad about it, I was just bored.
