There are not many changes over last year's game, the game play, etc. is basically the same, so expect a high level in terms of a game.
The big new feature is the 'road to the show' in which you are given various goals to complete. However, the problem is that the defensive addition is horrible. You can barely see the ball coming off the bat, so you basically have to guess if the ball is coming to you, to your left or right. This messes you up when a goal is dependent upon you completing the play. Training in this mode is not the greatest, it just adds to your skills across the board. The classic mode is just better.
The big big complaint is that they did not improve on the load time. In fact, the load time is longer. When starting a game in 'road' mode, you can go and have a meal before the game finally loads. Once in the game, it's fine. This has to be fixed! Other games figured out how to combat load times, why can't they figure it out in this game?
All in all, if you liked last year's game, this one is basically the same. The new features don't add much, but it's still fun, nonetheless.
