First things first this game is great, don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.  Its quick to pick up, its beautiful to look at, and it is fun.  That being said I don't understand why people aren't getting this game.

You assume the role of Jade, a reporter in a war torn planet, Hillys, who also runs a sort of orphanage for kids whose families were killed in the war.  This war is with a race called the Domz, sort of a crustacean insectoid alien race.  There is also an unseen war between a certain rebel faction of Hillys, the IRIS network, and the so called protectors of Hillys, Alpha Section.  There is deception and corruption on the part of the Alpha Section and the IRIS network is trying to expose this.  Jade must use her investigative skills, sidekicks that helop her fight, and her main weapon, her trusty camera to get to the bottom of this scandal.

The story is great.  It has no holes that I have seen and it captures your attention.  The graphics are quite possibly the greatest part of the game.  They are simple and beautiful.  You can tell that the developers went for quality of graphics over quantity of things to see.  That being said there is still much to see as Hillys is one giant world that you must navigate by hovercraft.  Whether you are shooting pictures of a basking whale or shooting an attacking Domz out of the sky, you still notice the beauty of the background boats, trying to escape the fight or sinking after getting hit.  There is no lagging framerate and everything moves quite fluidly.

The music is another great aspect because it makes you feel what you see.  The music on deep undercover missions makes you feel on edge and alert at all moments while the music for just cruising around Hillys makes you feel light and happy.

The Controls of the game are near perfect.  I like the fact that you cannot fight until you are near an enemy.  Thus no mistakenly hitting NPCs and such.  Plus when you do fight its that much better.  You don't feel like you must fight, only that you are ready to do so when needed.  Controls are very responsive and have no problems when trying to do in-game tasks.  Also, the camera allows you to see everything that you need and never obscures your vision.  Controlling your sidekick works well when fighting because you can do so without changing your focus on attacking an enemy.  That is to say if you are fighting a Domz and you need your sidekick to help you, the controls make it easy to fight with two characters at once.

Like most action/adventure games once you go through it and get 100% there is no real need to play again.  It still is fun enough to play over and you can take different pictures to complete the game in a different way. Its still the same ending though.

I would recommend this game for anyone who enjoyed Ratchet and Clank or Jak and Daxter: TPL.  This is just a great game to have and you can't go wrong with a game by the creator of Rayman.
