This game is why I bought a PS2 about 2 years ago.  And even today when I need a my racing fix that's the game I put on. 
 
The graphics are still on par with band new releases and the gameplay is close to perfect.   
 
A very challenging game for even for Hardcorer Gamers.  Hours and hours of pure racing pleasure.
