Prince of Persia has always been a good game, since the first game it had this adventure feel to it that didn't let you just kill everything that breaths, it forced you to explore for the best route and then try to jump and sort all kinds of traps. That is the best thing this new installment in the Prince of Persia series does.
The control is good, if a bit different from what I was used to, the right mouse button is used as the special action button, that lets you climb walls, spin faster, and do all kinds of neat tricks, and that is the base of all PoP:SoT, doing all kinds of cool tricks.
It really has a platformer old-school feel that is great, most of the puzzles are difficult, but not so much as to make them frustrating, and graphics are quite good, besides character animation is flawless, with some very cool combat moves and really impressive jumps.
Gameplay is a bit complicated to explain, it's very much like a Mario game, with lots of buttons and switches, and a lot more wall-walking, combat is far more interesting than just button mashing, since most of the enemies won't fall for this kind of attack or the other, besides sometimes you have to protect your partner so it adds a little more strategy than just running and waiting for a hit.
Prince of Persia is an excellent game overall, and even though it does feel a bit old in some places (I grow tired of pushing boxes!) the combat and the overall feeling of it is quite worth it.
